The D-team made a reasonable start to their Division 3 campaign with a 2-4 loss away to a strong Clevedon B-team despite being short of two of the top three boards and well out-graded on every board but the bottom one.

No one was crushed and everyone enjoyed it so my team instructions (when I remember) to 'have fun and make yourself difficult to beat' were followed. Abid particularly enjoyed himself with a fine win on top board. My thanks to the two reserves for answering the call.
